At 400 gsm through the body, the Erico carries a serious amount of Thermocore, and it does it inside an exceptionally light 35 gsm nylon shell. That shell is 6/6 military grade fabric with unbreakable weaving, rain proof, made with non-allergenic dyes and chemicals. The inner shell adds 65 gsm of polyester and nylon under a durable water repellent finish.

The result is a jacket for genuinely cold days that still compresses down: it is packable, so it goes in a bag for winter travel or an early start. Hood and hem both adjust by drawcord, hidden ribknit inside the open hem cuffs traps warmth, and the zipper runs behind a wind flap.

Two zip waist pockets sit outside. Inside there are two mesh pockets, a zip chest pocket, two open chest pockets and a shoulder strap. Shown in green.
