Coverage to the thigh, a hood that detaches, and a cord at the waist to draw the shape in: the blue Moore is a straightforward winter parka that does not fuss over itself. Thermocore insulation is 200 gsm in the body, 100 gsm in the hood.

Both layers deal with weather. The 150 gsm nylon 6/6 outer is military grade with unbreakable weaving, rain proof and made with non-allergenic dyes and chemicals, and the 65 gsm 80% polyester, 20% nylon lining carries a DWR finish.

Hidden rib knit cuffs close the sleeves, and the front zipper is backed by a snap button placket. The hood has a chin guard for wind. Storage runs to a chest zip pocket and two waist pockets outside, with two open chest pockets and two mesh pockets inside.
