Thigh length is what separates a parka from a jacket, and the Moore uses that extra coverage well - your hips and upper legs stay out of the wind on a cold platform or a long walk home. Thermocore insulation is rated 200 gsm in the body and 100 gsm in the hood.

The outer is 150 gsm nylon 6/6, military grade with unbreakable weaving, rain proof and made with non-allergenic dyes and chemicals. Inside sits a 65 gsm 80% polyester, 20% nylon DWR lining.

A zipper closes under a snap button placket, hidden rib knit finishes the cuffs, and a waist adjustment cord shapes the fit. The hood detaches and has a chin guard. Outside there is a chest zip pocket and two waist pockets; inside, two open chest pockets and two mesh pockets.
