Blue softens a jacket built for hard weather. Underneath the colour, the Malcolm carries Thermocore insulation at 300 gsm through the body and 200 gsm in the hood, so it is genuinely warm rather than merely padded.

Hidden rib knit cuffs sit inside an open hem to trap heat where it usually escapes, and drawcords at both the hem and the hood let you seal the jacket against wind. The hood removes entirely and includes a chin guard. Up front, a zipper closes behind a placket.

The shell is 150 gsm nylon 6/6, military grade with unbreakable weaving, rain proof and made with non-allergenic dyes, lined in 35 gsm nylon with a DWR finish. Two waist pockets - D-ring on the left - and a chest zip pocket outside; mesh and open chest pockets inside.
