Warmth without bulk is the whole idea behind the Bryan. A featherweight 35 gsm nylon shell in 6/6 military grade fabric with unbreakable weaving carries a heavy 300 gsm Thermocore body fill, so the vest runs far warmer than its thin outer face suggests. The 65 gsm polyester and nylon lining adds a durable water repellent finish, and the shell itself is rain proof.

A zipper with a placket closes it cleanly and keeps wind from creeping through the front seam. Two zippered waist pockets sit outside; inside there are two mesh pockets and two chest pockets for a phone, gloves or a folded hat. Pull it over a knit on cold mornings when a full jacket would be too much through the arms.
