Two tones, black over grey, give the Luka more visual interest than a plain puffer without pushing it out of everyday territory. Ribbed cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem close the jacket down neatly at both ends.

Thermocore insulation runs 200 gsm in the body and 100 gsm in the hood - a solid middle weight that carries you through most of the winter without overheating indoors. The 150 gsm nylon 6/6 outer is military grade with unbreakable weaving, rain proof and made with non-allergenic dyes and chemicals; the lining is 65 gsm 80% polyester, 20% nylon with a DWR finish.

The zipper is backed by a velcro placket to keep wind off the teeth, and the hood detaches and adjusts by drawcord. Two zip waist pockets outside, two open and two mesh pockets inside.
